Detlefs Johnson & Partners is committed to supporting the community we live and work in. We assist various charitable projects and activities, and, in particular, support the Fallen Heroes of Baton Rouge Police Department Annual Golf Tournament.
The Fallen Heroes of B.R.P.D. is a charitable fund established in August, 2005, to assist family members who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. The fund also assists officers seriously injured in the line of duty with recovery and rehabilitation, and is managed by the elected board members of the Baton Rouge City Police Union local 237 non-profit organization.
Gary Johnson & Associates is proud to be the title corporate sponsor of the fund’s yearly fundraiser, the golf tournament. This popular event is held at The University Club and draws city officials such as Mayor Kip Holden and Chief of Police Jeff LeDuff, as well as a large roster of donators, players and spectators. A jambalaya feast kicks off registration and food donations are accepted throughout the day.
